Trap Deployment

Trap Monitoring
All traps deployed at Pua’a Patrol LLC are monitored 24/7 via cellular game camera for the duration of the job. Not only does this notify us immediately when a pig is trapped, it also allows us to study pig activity in detail. Our cellular cameras show us how many pigs are visiting, their gender, size, ingress/egress routes, and how they behave in and around the trap. This level of monitoring helps us fine-tune each set up for the most safest and effective results.
Pig Removal
Once a pig is captured, removal is conducted promptly with a strong emphasis on safety, control, and humane handling. Each animal is carefully subdued to minimize stress, then securely restrained to protect people, property, and the animal itself during handling.
